The Annual General Meeting of the Petone Rowing Club will be held on Sunday 31

May, 10:30 AM at The Clubhouse. We are grateful to the Ministry of Health to allow meetings of up to 100 from Friday 29 May, in time for us to hold a face-to-face meeting. It also means we begin to get the club back to normal operation. Exciting!

There are some other things to note:

⦁ Before the AGM there will be a "club day" on the water from 7:30 AM for all athletes. A great time to renew acquaintances with each other, and with being on the water.

⦁ We had thought of combining the prizegiving with the AGM. Following representations from some athletes, we have decided to delay this until we are able to run a proper party.

⦁ We are planning to run the Petone Solstice Regatta as usual, on 21 June 2020, with the following Sunday, 28 June as the backup postponement day.

⦁ There will be an announcement shortly about details for restarting Learn to Row. Watch this space.

It feels great to be getting the season underway at last. Please note that the Covid-19 protocols for contact tracing, personal and building hygiene, and physical distancing are still in place at the clubhouse. And, especially, if you are feeling unwell please stay away from the club.
